New Year new me and all that!!

As usual I've made a new list of resolutions for myself to break- lets take a look at them now and laugh at their implausability.
Veganuary- An ambitious start, but watching Forks over Knives over christmas has made me realise that I really ought to make a change. I know Veganism just isn't feasible for me in the long term- but I want to give it my best shot for all of january and see what habits I can take into the rest of the year.
Fast fashion Fasting- Quit shopping fast fashion for good. It ruins my bank account, the environment, its massively unethical and it just fills up space I don't have in my tiny wardrobe. With things like Depop, charity shops and nottinghams amazing selection of vintage shops I have no excuse- although i may have to make an exception in the case of another JW anderson x uniqlo colab but thats the only one.
Quit Diet Coke- I am addict and I know it. I regularly forgo meals in exchange for a can of the sweet sweet chemical laden stuff. I love it but its gone too far- I can easily consume a litre in a day like its nothing and that really cannot be good. So good bye my love, my life is empty and filled with terrible headaches without you- but its for the best.
Not spend so much time on social media- now this one makes me laugh, my phone is like an extension of my personality at this point. I went two days without it when I lost it at christmas and honestly felt like I'd lost a limb. So not to be dramatic or anything- but I'm going to cut my Twitter and Instagram uses down by an hour a day, by tracking it on an app. Lets be real this won't happen, but maybe I'll learn to enjoy living in the real world??
