W.W.I.L.D March

March has been a pleasure and a welcome relief after the hectic Feb.

Lets kick off this lovely reflection with watching!!

Youtube wise I've been watching a lot of Magnus Ronning - A street wear vlogger but not in a cringe worthy hype-beast way. He genuinely knows what he's talking about and has a real sense of taste and appreciation for what he shows. It also helps that he's looking rather niiiiiice with his new haircut i must say.

Not a lot of TV or film lately I must admit- the standard Peep Show while eating dinner and a dabble into Ru Paul's drag race- nothing too wild this month I must say.

What have I been wearing I hear you ask?

Nothing new I'm afraid, as a poor student I seem to have sold all my worldly goods on depop. Due to the cold snap I've been sporting my age old favourite north face hat and bright purple Patagonia coat. Its some combo i tell you that.

I also purchased a new fleece the other day which has seen a lot of wear. You could say as of late I've been heavily inspired by the Geography teacher/ Gold D of E aesthetic.

Its questionable I'm aware.

Interested in?

Recently I've been well into reading which I'm so glad I've finally got back into as I could feel my vocabulary declining by the day. In March i re read Pride and Prejudice, a quality book can't even lie. Sometimes I do think I'm a middle aged woman trapped in an 18 year old body.

Listening to?

A lot of Sade because whats not to love about 80's soul music in a chilly March. In the same 80's vein i've also been big into Duran Duran and The Cure. Potentially the best discovery ever was the Easy 80's playlist on spotify - I don't think I've ever listened to as much Buggles and Alphaville as I have this month.

I've also been listening to a lot of Lou Reed and Joni Mitchell for an even bigger throw back.

I've really enjoyed quite a few of the songs off MGMT's new album, some are truly dire but theres the odd GEM. I especially like Little Dark age its very angsty 14 year old synth pop but in a good way.

March has been all over the shop with genres I must say.

Doing?

Frisbee.

Yeh I'd laugh at me to.

Incase you hadn't already realised I'm really not cool. I play Ultimate Frisbee both at uni and for a few different clubs. March is the start of the Outdoor season so my month has been packed with frisbee.

Thats the honest run down of what I've been doing but Lets just pretend this didn't happen.
