W.W.I.L.D February

I know this post is incredibly overdue, but February flew by like a bullet bill in Mario Kart, but here we are with last month's favourites post.

Lets kick things off with WATCHING:

February was a super busy month for me so I haven't really had a lot of time to devote to watching. Saying this however, I did manage to watch the entire second series of stranger things in about 3 days which was quite impressive.

I thought the new series was okay, not a patch on the first series but also not a complete disappointment. I thought the Hawkins world was a lot more developed and aesthetic, but i feel like the plot was overly dragged out; don't even get me started on that USELESS episode where Eleven finds her sister.

I got back into youtube videos in February after having steered clear of the majority of vloggers since 2016 when the site became a sickening pit of marble and rose gold spangled hauls. However, one vlogger that doesn't set my teeth on edge is Kailee McKenzie (who I've been watching for a few years now and actually inspired me to look into FCP as a course- go Kailee).

Kailee is a vlogger genuinely interested in fashion rather than shopping, and recently she started her own brand so its been super interesting keeping up on her from a business perspective and her life in New York City lately.

I actually properly enjoy how miserable and honest she is on camera. Its refreshing to see someone as cynical as me rather than Zoella's picture perfect smile baring into me as I stare at my screen.

WEARING:

Due to being super busy in Feb, clothes have been the last thing on my mind - so sadly my wearing section leaves a lot to be desired. Its all just the same as my march post with a few more appearances of running leggings (shameful i know).

I guess jewellery counts in wearing- I finally got round to getting my nose pierced recently so thats been a nice new addition to my life. Also my mum hasn't yet written me out of the Will for getting it done so thats even better.

INTERESTED IN:

Again I've been super busy this month so hobbies have taken a right old back seat. I guess you can say I've got back into running lately- I agreed to do a half marathon in September in support of Macmillian which is a nice thing to do- but I've also realised I am no where near being able to run 13 miles so that will be fun!!!!

LISTENING TO:

A theme of this blog post is deffs my lack of time and general disengagement with anything vaguely hobby-esque. This is clearly reflected in my Feb18 playlist which only has 34 songs in it- for me not a huge amount.

I've been really rating Rejjie Snow's new album, alongside getting back into Homeshake, Alvvays, Gangstarrr and Ross from Friends. Thin on the ground and a proper weird mix I promise it'll be better next month???

DOING:

Literally nothing of cultural interest it would seem. I worked 9-5 every day of reading week to fill my poor student purse and that seems to have filled the basis of my personality lately.

I PROMISE I'LL BE LESS BORING NEXT MONTH.
